Southern Trust Home Services is a locally owned and operated company that has been serving Roanoke and surrounding areas since 1995, specializing in home services such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, drain cleaning, duct cleaning, water filtration and bathroom remodeling.
We are currently looking for an Events Coordinator for our Bath Remodeling division, Luxury Bath. Prior experience managing Events/Shows and training staff members is a plus!
Experienced Event Marketer Responsibilities & Duties:
- Research and find events and shows within the Roanoke, VA dealer’s assigned territory
- Negotiate contracts with the event vendors
- Book an annual calendar of events and shows
- Recruit, hire and train event demonstrators
- Schedule demonstrators to work events
- Coordinate booth and display set-up and tear down
- Set appointments for a free in-home consultation at the events and shows
- Collect contest entries
- Measure and report results
Event Marketer Qualifications:
- Strong communications skills
- Positive, outgoing personality
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to coach, train and motivate others
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must be able to pass a drug test & background check
- Valid driver’s license
